Established kitchen retailer reaches for more on Facebook
Chris Strange Kitchens are a family-run retailer selling high quality kitchens. Based in Scunthorpe, they have an excellent reputation for high quality products and their focus on customer service. But you wouldn’t find them on Facebook. Until we helped out.
Andy Gough, Managing Director at Chris Strange Kitchens knew the company needed to build a strong presence online through social media.
Although a well-established retailer in the area, their presence online was limited to their website.
So we spoke to Andy, discussed what he wanted to achieve through social media marketing, and designed a training programme specifically for his company aims and objectives.
We spent 3 hours with Andy showing him how to setup adverts, manage the page and understand how to use the analytical tools on his Facebook account.
Updating your status and adding images is fairly straightforward – but we wanted to make sure he was able to use the full range of tools that Facebook has to offer for targeted, effective social media marketing.
We even helped with the technical side of things that can be really frustrating, like linking-up accounts.
The things that always seem easy, but never are.
And this is what happened…
In just their first month since diving into the world of Facebook, Chris Strange Kitchens went from 348 to 419 likes.
After changing their Facebook adverts to focus on engagement they shot up even further. And their likes and engagement continues to grow month by month – their reach on Facebook is almost 3000 people, on average, each month.
More importantly, Facebook has brought paying customers. All as a direct result of their new and targeted activity.
And given the company’s excellent reputation for customer service, those Facebook customers can now easily share the love for their new kitchen with Andy and his team on his Facebook page.
More happy customers. More likes. More shares. More Facebook activity.
See. It does work.
How Andy’s training benefited the company:
- Increased traffic to their website
- Increased reach on their Facebook page
- Raised awareness of products and sales, locally and regionally
- Improved engagement with past and future customers
- Confidence to manage the Facebook page effectively
- Developed skills using the analytical and marketing tools for businesses
“I didn’t have a clue what could be done with Facebook. I didn’t have an account myself and never really knew why I should use it for the company. All we knew was that it was the way forward.
“What Karen showed me in the training gave me everything I needed to be able to use Facebook effectively and in a targeted way.
“The few hours it took was well worth it. Our likes have almost doubled and our reach continues to grow. And thanks to Karen’s persuasion, I now use my personal Facebook account too.”
